Sending Your Scores

You can order score reports to be sent to colleges and scholarship programs, in addition to the four free reports you specified by test day. To make changes to the four free score reports, visit My SAT. You can change these score recipients until 11:59 PM (EST) on the Monday one week after your scheduled test date.

Requesting Additional Score Reports Online:

The easiest way to send additional scores is online. Your scores will be mailed about three weeks after you submit your request.

To send additional score reports:

  1. Go to the Scores page on www.collegeboard.com click the "View and Send Scores" button. You'll be prompted to sign in to your personal SAT Registration and Scores page. If you haven't already created a collegeboard.com user name and password, do so now.

  2. Click the "Send Available Scores" button.

  3. Search by name, state, code, or country for the colleges and scholarship programs you'd like to receive your scores.

  4. You'll have the opportunity to edit your list of recipients or to choose regular or rush delivery of your scores.

  5. Review and print your confirmation page.

Payment must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). Once you submit your request online, it cannot be canceled.

Fee
Additional reports are $9 each.

Important notes:

  • We send a cumulative report of all scores. You cannot send only your latest or highest scores, or separate scores for critical reasoning, writing, or math, or only SAT Reasoning Test or only SAT Subject Tests scores.

  • Only score reports from completed and scored tests will be sent to the colleges and scholarship programs you select. Scores from future tests for which you registered, but have not yet completed, will not be included. Check your My SAT page to see which scores are available to send.

  • Your scores are maintained on active file for one year after your high school graduation, or for one school year following your test date if you tested after high school. Please see Archived Scores for more information if you last tested more than a year ago.

Scores by Phone
Scores by Phone are released according to the same schedule as Scores by Web.

To get your score by telephone, call (609) 771-7600 on or after the dates listed above, during standard business hours. Note: this service does not send scores to colleges any earlier.
